Kalachakra refers both to patron tantric deity or a Yidam in Vajrayana Buddhism and to the philosophies and yoga in the Kalachakra tradition. Kalachakra means the Wheel of Time or time cycles. He is blue in color and is often represented in union with Viswamata or also known as Kalachakri yellow in color. He is four headed with two legs and twenty-four arms. His body is covered by a tiger skin and wears a belt formed of Vajras. He is represented stepping on personages with four arms. The one underneath the right foot holds a bow and arrow and the one on his left foot is holding a bow and arrow and a Khatvanga.
