THE MOTHER GODDESS
The mother of the Buddhas from the Past , Present and the Future. She is mostly represented in a sitting position with her right leg in front ready to stand up. Her hands are holding a Utpala Lotus each. The right hand in a mudra of Giving and the left hand in the mudra of Refuge. The colour green is the symbol of Enlightenment and Compassion in abundance. Historically she was the Nepalese princess Bhirkuti married to the Tibetan king Tsongtsen Gampo.
