Yellow orange in colour, he holds a sword in his right hand and holds a lotus holding a book in his left hand.The sword with flames around it, is the sword that cuts down Ignorance. The book on the lotus is the Book of wisdom. Stories tell that this Boddhisatva came all the way from Tibet to create the Valley of Kathmandu which was a lake before. Often represented in thangkas with Chenrezig and Vajrapani. Yamantaka is his wrathful form.
